November 26-27, 2015: Project presentations at PPM 2015
The research team gave two talks on the methodology and preliminary findings of the project at the "3rd International Workshop on Phonotactics and Phonotactic Modeling".
March 21-24, 2016: Project presentation at Evolang XI
The research team presented a poster on a mathematical model of cluster dynamics at the "11th International Conference on Language Evolution" in New Orleans. The poster has been awarded with the Evolang Poster Prize.
August 31 - September 3, 2016: Project presentation at SLE 49
The research team presented a poster on exaptation and the diachronic development of the English /z/ suffix (Prömer), as well as a poster on the method of simulating language stages (Baumann et al.) at the "49th Annual Meeting of the Societas Linguistica Europaea" in Naples. The posters have been awarded with the First and the Second Prize in the category of Best Conference Poster, respectively.
September 22-24, 2016: Project presentation at ExAPP 3
The research team presented project related diachronic work as well as the analysis of a decision-task experiment on the processing of morphonotactic consonant clusters at the "3rd Conference on Experimental Approaches to Perception and Production of Language Variation".
September 7-8, 2017: Workshop on diachronic phonotactics
